The Storyline
“Woh Kya Hai” evokes the sweet nostalgia of childhood those moments when mothers spoke in half-sentences, believing we understood their every word. In this story, young Premchand is asked by his mother to fetch “woh” from the refrigerator while she prepares noodles. Innocently puzzled, he searches through bottles and jars but fails to find it. With playful frustration, his mother warns, “If I find it myself, you’ll see!” She opens the fridge and reveals the mysterious “woh” a bottle of soya sauce. Through this tender exchange, the film beautifully captures how love, warmth, and understanding often live unspoken in everyday moments.

The Process & Set Design
The stop-motion film was created through careful set design and handmade clay models. Each scene was shot frame by frame using a camera from different angles, then compiled digitally to form smooth motion. Finally, sound, music, and 2D animation were added to enhance the mood and bring the story to life.
